Here is a split-flap weather station we(group 5) made for our 41030 Design of mechatronics course at DTU.

For our product, we used:
1 Sheet of acrylic of 3mm (600x400 mm)
1 MDF board, also 3mm (600x400 mm)
1 Arduino
2 stepper-motors
2 ball-bearings
esp8366 wifi module
photo interrupter (GP1A51HRJ00F)
Jumper cables
USB power supply
2 sheets of "sign" cardboard (1mm thick, 600x400)
