Egg Drop (try and fail)

This attempt at dropping an egg was a dismal failure. I decided to post it anyway. I think that the "watch spring" method has some merit - it allows motion and damping in all directions. Getting the correct stiffness to soften the landing without breaking the egg is the key.
The fixture was printed with PLA which has more flex than I believed it would, in certain configurations.
