Students will interact with a learning lesson on how to construct an argument that is supported by evidence for how plants and animals (including humans) can change the environment to meet their needs - power point guided lesson and interactive pdf worksheet.
They will then match photos of birds to 3D printed eggs (a selected batch of pre-printed eggs in REAL-LIFE sizes).
Finally, using tools that the facilitator provides; create a "suitable shelter" for the egg of their choice using the 3D printed models provided by the teacher. Students can be guided to only be permitted to use ONE of the eggs, or can have a selection of 3 (hummingbird, robin or ostrich).
