A 10mm thick EF lenscap with extra grippiness to it minus some of the slow printing problems at some level.*4 Included is a "sharp" version (Shown in the photos) and a version with filleting around the corners that helps with print speed.
I don't have any EF lenses yet but these sure mount on my adapters1 well. As far as I can tell (Since I'm not a Canon user) most Canon lenses don't have pokey tabs or aperture levers that would interfere with this thing.3 It could probably be a tiny bit thinner but then it won't act as an impact absorbing crumple zone if in some horrible thing were to happen and your lens decided to commit suicide by jumping out of your camera bag. The fit on these caps will be initially very tight most likely, but once you cycle them on and off the bayonet then they'll loosen up to an acceptable "just right."
Also there's no distracting logos or other stuff to remind you that I made this. Unfortunately that also means no text telling you these are for EF. That also solves itself in that I don't have a F version of these lenscaps (Nor do I plan on making a F version any time soon, unless someone wants to pay me to do that. You can't get me leaving Nikon any faster than I already am.)
1 Fotodiox adapter for Nikon G type lenses, which has the blue tabs. And a crummy Neewer adapter which has aluminum on the body side of the mount for that crummy feeling when you mount it onto a Speedbooster2 or an actual Canon body (which I don't own so I don't know how horrible it'd feel). Seriously get yourself a brass adapter, not even Boeshield will make these things slip on smoothly. I'll let you know about my adventures here since I am converting over to EF mount with all my F mount glass anyways.
*2 For the curious: I run Olympus flavored Micro Four Thirds.
*3 If you own a Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 of some sort, the large tab in the rear protrudes greatly. Do not try to mount that onto an EF Speedbooster Ultra, it will hit the felt and the plastic shield behind it. I trimmed mine back so I have circumcised the lens to allow for it t mount. This also means this cap most likely will not mount with an unmodified lens. It does happily mount on a Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 along with many other lenses as they don't have too many protrusive bits and the aperture lever happily sits inside the adapter anyways.
*4 For some reason there are lens caps that have awesome knurling on them. The problem is awesome knurling also means unawesome print times because of the many small radii or small features.
