Modified the Simonwlchan excellent shroud to fit with tonyyoungblood's e3dv6 spacer. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:958450 Also removed some extra design elements to print a bit faster.
Added a picture of the bridge-torture-test_50mm after installing this fan. Probably should lower the temperature a touch more, but it came out pretty damn great.
Version 2 Update
Please use fan-shroud-v2 with the spacer. After running with the new spacer I built, the previous shroud kept hitting the bed and bulldozing the filament off, the only way to stop that was by filing the shroud down. So instead I opted to redevelop the shroud.
With the latest changes, I shortened the length of the shroud's nozzle so it no longer hits the bed. I also widened the mouth and pointed it down. The air flow hits right below the hot end's nozzle with a wider pattern. Prior it seemed to hit the nozzle and was more focused.
You can see the new picture of the bridge-torture-test_50mm and it's improved, no slouching on the bottom of the bridge at all. I call that a complete success and improvement. Again, thanks to Simonwlchan for making the original shroud this remix is based off.
Both shrouds were printed with PETG natural. The newer shroud is even clearer due to slimming the walls a bit more.
Lastly, I added my own adapter for the e3d, seems the other sizes are either too tall or too short, this seems to be just right and gives a snug fit. Please note, that the filament hole for the spacer is sized so the PTFE Liner can be cut and butt up against the metal extruder (check pictures). Which helps with printing flexible filament such as ninjaflex.
