E3D Cyclops/Chimera Voron Afterburner toolhead
These parts will allow to mount an E3D Cyclops or Chimera as a Voron Afterburner toolhead. It's a complete redesign, inspired by the standard Voron E3D v6 toolhead.
You shall be able to use your Cyclops/Chimera as a dual bowden or direct+bowden setup, depending on the configuration of your afterburner. One filament entry will have to be bowden.
I had to find a new mounting mecanism, since this is larger than the standard toolheads. There is no modification required on your Afterburner, but you'll need a flat head M3x10 to use instead of one of the M3x40. The M3x10 flat head will mount on the lower side of the carriage. The toolhead should slide up and you shall hear a "pop" when it locks in place, as it is designed to get tighter when you slide up..
If used on a voron, please use the back in version 2, to prevent collision of the toolhead with the XY joint. V2 requires moderate supports from buildplate.
The print works also as a mirror, if you prefer.
I haven't fully tested it yet, since my Afterburner is still on my desk and not yet on the printer. The mechanical parts fit as expected.
From my understanding, the newer Cyclops+ and Chimera+ have a different internal layout, with more space in between the heatbreaks. I may make a Cyclops+ / Chimera+ version later if need be.
Enjoy your prints
