E-A-R One Touch Dispenser

This is a complete reverse engineering of an existing commercial product.

I had a project a while back in which I retrofitted a 3M E-A-R One Touch earplug dispenser into an automatic cat feeder. I wanted to get the design done before 3D printing any parts, so I modeled the dispenser as it existed, as well as a number of electronics parts and some wood pieces I later cut.

This is an almost exact model of the dispenser. I made several simplifications to the geometry of the Stand Fixture, and none of the parts show manufacturing artifacts (pin marks, witness lines, slide action, etc). In the SolidWorks model, the assembly is actually properly constrained, so you can see exactly how the real-life model functions. I spent a lot of time on this project.
