This is a custom mount plate for the popular regulator rectifier upgrade for Ducati 1198 using FH020AA MOSFET + Triumph T2500676 harness to replace the Ducati OEM regulator rectifier known to fail because of excessive heat. The MOSFET-based regulator rectifier and the Triumph harness which serves as an adapter between the upgraded part and the original Ducati cabling can be sourced as a package from here: https://roadstercycle.com
The mount plate should be manufactured using a CNC machine. I've attached the original SolidWorks files and the Ducati font used in one of the diagrams in case you need them.
There are two part files which contain the same diagram with the only difference being in the engraved letters "DUCATI SBK". Depending on the specifics of the CNC machine where you produce the plate you might need some tweaks on these letters hence the two files. One of them does not rely on the custom Ducati font.
You will need the following extra mounting hardware:
1) x2 A2 DIN 7991 M6 14mm bolts for securing the mount plate to the chassis of the motorcycle;
2) x2 A2 DIN 912 M6 20mm bolts for securing the new reg rec to the mount plate;
3) x2 cylindrical spacers length=10mm, width=10mm for M6 bolts used to offset the ECU so it accommodates the bigger size of the new reg rec;
4) x2 A2 DIN6912 -or- ISO 7380 M6 45mm (or 50mm manually cut down to 46mm) to replace the original ECU mount bolts.
NOTE: It's advisable to use thread locker with all bolts.
