Dual Z lock for the CR10-500
I have had some issues with the two sides getting out of alignment so I looked at the possibilities and one GT2 1220mm closed belt and two 50 teeth GT2 pulleys fit perfectly.
They fit well under my frame braces and It should work with most frame braces.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2898173
You lose about 20 mm in Z travel. It can be reduced to around 10 mm if you flip the pulleys but I wanted them as close to the top bearings as possible.
When you mount them make sure that you align your bed to be the same height above the frame on both sides and only then rotate each Z axis so the X axis is parallel with the bed.
I made a small bed level piece that you can print and use to help align the bed.
The 50 teeth pulleys are a bit hard to find compared to 40 and 60 but I found them on aliexpress.
Make sure they are 8 mm bore.https://www.aliexpress.com/item/GT2-Timing-pulley-50-Teeth-8mm-Bore-for-6mm-Width-Belt-2pcs-lot/32660628656.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.39674c4dKLGvVG
It should be possible to do the same for the S4 and S3 with 976mm and 28T and 760mm and 20T but I haven't confirmed those numbers.
