This is a chuck cradle / bed protector for 6" and 8" lathe chucks. I designed it to fit the ways on the Birmingham YCL1340GH, Grizzly G4016 and many other brands of the 13.5x40 lathes sold by various US Importers.
Use a raft and plenty of support for the underside. On some printers, you may need to print it in 2 pieces and epoxy them together after. Included is the Autodesk Inventor file for those who may need to modify it for a specific machine.
I havn't printed one of these yet. Once i do, i may modify the files to adjust the fit.
