This is a dual extrusion remix of my popular DNA/RNA manipulative set.
When I tested this in class, there was some problems seeing the letters in the tiles if the class lighting was off. If you have students with visual impairments, you can print these in bold contrasting colors. Future versions can have braille on the pieces.

This is designed to model DNA, RNA, DNA / RNA coding, as well as all other process of DNA / RNA transcription.
I am also working on a CRISPER / Cas9 restriction enzyme expansion set so you can explore how this new gene editing technology works.
Printing instructions: The base tiles are marked as ptA, while the letter inlays are ptB. I used the dual extrusion settings of Cura to print them together.
You can use this with the restriction enzyme set or amino acid set to learn how to transcribe DNA to RNA to protein.
I am also working on a CRISPER expansion set.
