This is an adaptation of the case for DSO138 oscilloscope that features a 9V battery and a rocker switch for power (none of that tumbler switch rubbish).
Soldering is pretty simple and is shown on the pictures but feel free to ask questions. Basically I just used leads of one of the power jacks.
Things that can be improved:
hole for the rocker switch is a bit too tight. I had to file it a tiny bit. Feel free to increase the buttonHole parameter in the scad file.
USB hole is a bit misaligned (it's shifted upwards). This is a problem with the original design I remixed. If it's important for you, move it down or expand it.
battery compartment had some free vertical space so the battery had an opportunity to rattle a bit when shaken. To combat that I just put the battery on a piece of cardboard. If you want though you can modify the design to have a plastic "bed" for it.
this is also a problem in the original design but not all screws gripped properly for me. Some are just freely rotating, barely holding. So decreasing hole radius may be a good idea (especially if your printer has good tolerances).
