I lied. Last free version now. Had to fix some things and optimize it. Now smaller overall, better impellor, and different covers for different purposes. This should pull about +-70mmH2O in either configuration. Dont have a manometer yet to measure air speed.
Last free version uploaded. Older and weaker files removed. Some of my best work here. Name change to something more official. Ill upload videos and testing later. Please use caution when using this. It's powerful, but still plastic/resin. Imploding blades are only fun to watch. Choose the "triforce" if you want absolute printed strength. Choose the turbine if you want absolute performance. Two turbines available. Each named appropriately for the desired effect from the "top" nubbin. Finally adding a better/easier print turbine/impellor for FDM or Resin printing.
Video of testing then destroying this design uploaded. New name for the whole thing since Im ditching the radial fan blades.
More parts. This time reworked the impellor. This is now snug fit over the collet. Hose adaptor should now be easier to place and should be air tight once the top is on.
New parts up. You wont be able to tighten the collet with the old impellor. Didn't think about assembly this time. Now you just need to reprint the compressor impellor and matching dremel M3 gear adaptor. This will slid right past the threads so you can slide on the impellor before attaching the top. Ill do proper tests later on for some accurate vacuum readings.
A prototype Dremel powered vacuum pump. Based off a 5015 radial fan, enlarged a few parts and added some nubbins. No idea if this will work as good as a commercial product, but being powered by a Dremel I think it will have plenty enough power. M3 screws to secure the housing and adapt the impellor. Screw on housing, you may need to scale up all parts 1 or 2 percent to compensate for the threads.
When using a Dremel or anything running at a high speed, use PPE. This is printed parts running past 20K RPM. Make sure your printing materials are up to the task.
Mine weren't as you can see in this second video. Anything past low speed on a Dremel will shred all existence of your fan blades. Ill be doing a redesign of the impellor to make it heavy duty soon. Was fun though seeing it shoot up until failure. On the absolute low speeds, Im achieving about -10mmH2O. This video was medium speed which was about 10mm more, then I cranked it up at the end out of curiosity and the vacuum is extremely strong.
