a partly planned xl z-Morph
design is for better volume/printarea Proportion (50% Printvolume)
more useable printspace in the same framesize
rsdocs included, feel free to improve and comment
in Desing Spark you can move the Y-axle, the bed an the extruder to check he free moving http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98aCXEPEeL4
ready for print parts are in black,
thoughts:
put all Steppers on one side to have more space,
belt driven z axis: no coupler needed,
gear driven (5:1) & 82 tooth pulley (16:80) z stepper, for more torque ( not testet )
i think z axes Speed isn´t Need for printig
alutubes on x axis for less weight of moving parts
self lubing bushings for silence
Vertical align x-rod tubes for more space to move
Nearly all parts are planned to print without support
