This is a TPU or other, holder and plug for my DJI Digital FPV HD system Remote or Transmitter. I used this to add a UFL/IPEX/IPX to RP-SMA 20cm cable to my radio to replace the original radio antenna.
I designed this to be the same as the plug style antenna that was originally installed using TPU so that I was flexible if my antenna was ever nocked or bumped.
I had a long conversation with Hugo from TrueRC and re recommend a DJI X-Air 5.8Ghz at 10dbi 120deg directional antenna or using singularity 5.8Ghz antenna at 1.3dbi.
you could use almost any 5.8Ghz antenna that you already use for your FPV goggles just RP-SMA as RP-SMA is the standard for a transmitter.
I would do this mod if you have upgraded your FPV goggle antenna and the Air unit antenna, as the whole system uses the same packets being sent from the air unit it is only logical that you would upgrade the remote antenna to have the system equal so your radio doesn't failsafe before your video.
I have done a video on YouTube on my mod. https://youtu.be/0ygiXbrQ0sU
