This is a very large and visible "clean" or "dirty" indicator sign for your Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher.
This thing is designed to simply press fit snuggly over the top edge of a dishwasher door that is 1.730" or about 44mm thick, which is what our Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher model is. If you need it thinner or thicker, you'll have to change the model...you might be able to use the Scale tool to do this.
This sign does not interfere with the ability of the dishwasher's door to close and seal.
Here's how we use this indicator sign at our house:
When you are ready to run the dishwasher load, pop the sign off and flip the sign so the word "CLEAN" is right-reading, and push it on to the top of the dishwasher door. When you open the dishwasher to unload it, flip the sign so the word "DIRTY" is right-reading. Pretty simple, really. The hard part is training other people in your household to follow these simple rules every time!
I printed mine in silver filament on a Replicator 1. Then I used Sharpie pens to color the letters red (for "dirty") and green (for "clean").
