NORTHERN ONLY
This is a segmented version Digital Sundial Cleansed by Margu, which was a cleaned-up remix of the original Digital Sundial by Mojoptix.
This version is simply a broken-up version of the Cleansed Sundial. It's segmented into four parts which allows for failure of one or more segments without the loss of the entire print. The first and forth segments are the most likely to be successful with the middle two prone to failure due to their many light blocking bridges. I've marked each piece to indicate the piece that it mates to with dimples. Match one dimple to one dimple, two dimples to two dimples, and so-forth. I've also added pegs and holes to assist in aligning the segments when you glue them together.
The first and last segments can be printed with .2 resolution whereas the middle two segments need .1 or .15.
My apologies as I only created the Northern Hemisphere.
Please also see my Sundial test for testing your printer's bridging ability as it pertains to the sundial before committing to a print: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1568322
Please see Sundial Cleansed for a description of why and how Margu made this version of the digital sundial: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1149469
And of course the original digital sundial by Mojoptix for a description of the original project and to get the other sundial parts like the stand/mount for it: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1068443
