The "Differential Pressure Switch NC/NO" is a 14mmx14mmx7mm size systems able to switch between 4,8mmx05mm standard contacts.

The Switch have two inputs and it work in differential pressure mode between these two. You can use the input "A" for positive pressure into respect the pressure at input "B" or, inversely, you can use the input "B" for negative pressure into respect the pressure at input "A". You can choose to connect only one input ("A" for plenum pressure or "B" for vacuum) in order to have the pressure switching into respect the ambient pressure that is present at the other input left free. Likewise, you can choose to connect both input and then working with the same previous principle.
The switch have a main electrical contact that has to be always connect and two secondary electrical contact that you can choose to connect in order to have NO or NC switch. In principle you can connect both secondary electrical contact and to have two electrical command: one NO and one NC.

The body part "B" have a cantilevers that presses on the diaphragm. The pressure of the cantilever can be adjusted by a set screw in order to permit to adjust the pressure set point.

The two body parts are in plastic material in which are co-molded the metallic contacts.
The switching contact is diaphragm in elastic plastic material in which is co-molded a bridge contact.

The beginnign parts are:
- 3 Metallic Contact for Faston connection (or 3 Metallic Contact for PCB mounting)
- 1 Metallic Switching Bridge
- 2 Type of plastic material.
- Set Screw M2

After the molding of the parts the remaining components to assemble (automatically or manually) are 3.

The weight is estimate at about 4,1 g (1,1g plastic, 3g metal)

Technical Requirements Compliance:
- Diaphragm activated momentary switch, normally open and normally closed options => Fully Compliant, NO/NC options both present
- Design enables efficient automation process and eliminate manual assembly with minimal changeover to alternate configurations => Fully Compliant: Fully automatic assembling and only the 3 contact as changeover from Faston to PCB connection options
- Differential, vacuum and positive pressure options => Fully Compliant: both achievable
- Electrical Connection options: Both male quick connect (4,7 X 0,5 mm) and thru-hole printed circuit board => Fully Compliant: both achievable
- Automated calibration enabled to adjust pressure set point at testing => Fully Compliant
- Ports interface for 8mm flexible tubing diameter maximum => Fully Compliant
- Pressure ranges: 15 to 40 Pa (low) and 30 to 160 Pa (high) => Fully Compliant
- Maximum body size envelope: 25 X 25 X 7mm => Fully Compliant: body size of 14 X 14 X 7mm.
- Preferred body size envelope: 14 X 14 X 7mm => Fully Compliant: body size of 14 X 14 X 7mm.
- Highlights but not limited to Microtechnologies core manufacturing technologies (injection molding, stamping, assembly, laser welding, tooling, machining, insert molding, and automation). => Fully Compliant: injection molding, stamping, assembly,insert molding, and automation
- Utilizes accelerating manufacturing technologies and materials. => Fully Compliant
- Cost effective design with least amount of materials. => Fully Compliant
