I ran across Antscran's i3 platform spring cups (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1374667) and wanted to print a set for my latest model Duplicator i3 Plus.
The new i3 Plus's come with a 3mm nylock nut under the heat plate holding the screw on and isolation washer in place. The spring seats around the outside of this nut. Instead of taking the M3 nut off and placing it under the up, I redesigned the Top Cup to fit around the nut but still capture the lip of the spring within the seat of the cup.
You will need to print 4 upper cups and 4 of the original cups by Antscran to create a full spring cage. This works really well. and due to the additional ~2mm taken up by the cups themselves it creates a very stiff, but still adjustable build plate.
I used a washer under the bottom cup between the cup and the Y-Plate as well.
