The 1st purpose of my design was to help students lighten up throughout this time, there's been a lot of events going on in this world, and sometimes the only thing that students want is to be in peace or to finally be calm, or to be content. Not only does this help them educationally but this helps them mentally & emotionally, many people from whatever age, let it be a student to an adult have feelings and we all are experiencing many feelings throughout this year and I just want to help those around me to feel finally at ease, or happy and to believe that It will get better.
My 2nd intention with this design was for students to be organized with their materials, My design can open and close, to hold pencils, pens, and markers, to store in papers or sticky notes on the inside and it is also very spacey, you can carry it anywhere and open it easily, it also has an inspirational quote on the top left side. It can help students be more organized with their paper-work, to focus more on their work, and it also soothes them and helps them to lighten up and think.
I came up with many issues, I am new to CAD, I've used software similar to this but this was far of a deeper level for me, so entirely everything was a difficulty and a challenge, but I still decided to not give up and to try to go past this and to focus more on what I wanted to do, I can't let this stop me for what I want to do more in my future. If I could re-design this I would change the way it opens and closes, My initial plan was for the design to open & close by half (or the middle of it?) but I ended up closing and opening it from the sides. 3-D printing could help strengthen my design by making it more stable and for it to have more durability.
