As standard the Clarke CDP5 drill press comes with a rather flimsy flip down safety guard that gets in the way and is quite fragile. When mine cracked I was quite happy to get rid of it but I didn't want to lose the depth stop - so I designed this simple part!
This attaches to the drill using the hardware from the original part.To fit it you will need to remove the chuck. I did this using a couple of pry bars above the chuck body and it came off quite easily.
Printed with 0.2mm layers, 70% infill in PLA.
