Denkmal der Goslarer Jäger

On the edge of Goslar’s old town, not far from the former city fortifications, stands this monumental monument to the Goslar hunters. It commemorates the dead of the two world wars and at the same time represents a reminder to the living. The memorial designed by the architect Kurt Elster was erected in 1926 by the sculptors Hans Lehmann-Borges and Walter Volland and supplemented in 1953 by the comradeship of the Goslar hunters.
