D&D sized working working gallows + platform. Once assembled you can place the noose around the neck of a mini and have another mini push the lever to open the trap door. The Gallows are based on, and interoperable with, DevonJones Dock parts if you want to add steps, change the height, or add walkways and other platforms.
You will need to print out,
4 x pilings (if you want a different height grab an alternate from the docks set)
2 x SupportBrace
1 x Deck
1 x Support
1 x Trapdoor
1 x Trapdoor axle
1 x locking pin
1 x Lever
1 x lever box
1 x lever box part 2
1 x victim
1 x gallows post split A
1 x gallows post split B
Once you have all the parts you first want to assemble the lever and leverbox. Insert the lever into the top of the box and add the bottom (leverbox part 2). The Lever should fit in easily and move. If it doesn't get out a small file / sandpaper and smooth thing off. Once its working as intended glue the box carefully so that the lever still moves. Congrats you just did the hardest part.
Next Glue the trap door axle to the trapdoor.
Now the main assembly. Dry fit the parts and check operation before you glue. Take the main support and drop in the trapdoor (it should fit easy and hang if you pick the support up). Now put the locking pin in the slot at the front of the trapdoor such that it sit under the trap door (locking pin should slide back and forth). The locking pin hole should be at the end that isn't under the trapdoor. Assuming everything works glue the deck carefully onto the support ensuring that the locking pin and trapdoor can still freely move.
Now add the lever/lever box such that the lever goes through the hole) and glue the lever box down (glue lightly around the edge to ensure you don't get glue on the lever or locking pin).
Next glue the pilings to either end of the support braces. Then glue the gallows post splits together and insert them through the hole in the deck/support. Add the pilings / brace to either end and adjust the gallows post until it rests on the ground.
Finally use some thread to create a noose and hook your mini-figure (you can use the one I provided or any figure with a neck).
At this point you are done. Push the lever and the mini will drop. It really isn't as hard as these instructions make it sound (honest)
Enjoy
