Update 2: Angled the nest for the brush by another 10° (20° total) for better cleaning action.
I'm no longer sure where I saw the idea for this, but this one is modified for my preferences. It was made to hold part of a wooden, Harbor Freight, brass wire brush that now seems to be gone.
This looks like it may be close...https://www.harborfreight.com/2-pc-welding-brush-set-63514.html
The original brush was just under 1/2" wide.
Cut a 1" section off of the end and insert into holder. Remove the stock, nozzle-wiper assembly and replace it with this.
I also cut down some of the bristles in the middle so that the nozzle would not touch them when parked.
Update: I just found my spare brush and it's a Lincoln Electric KH582.

I also added some holes so that you can use a small screw to hold the brush in if it's not tight enough, or if you cut it a bit short.
