Die Davidwache, fälschlich auch als Davidswache (mit Fugen-s) bezeichnet, ist das Gebäude des Hamburger Polizeikommissariats 15 und ist besonders durch Film und Fernsehen zum bekanntesten Polizeirevier der Hansestadt und auch darüber hinaus geworden. Die Wache befindet sich auf dem Kiez im Stadtteil St. Pauli an der Reeperbahn, Ecke Spielbudenplatz/Davidstraße. Das Reviergebiet umfasst 0,92 km² und hat etwa 14.000 Einwohner. Das Gebäude wurde von Fritz Schumacher geplant und 1914 fertiggestellt, der Bildhauer Richard Kuöhl gestaltete die Schmuckkeramik. The Davidwache, also incorrectly referred to as the Davidswache (with Fugen-s), is the building of the Hamburg Police Department 15 and has become the most famous police station in the Hanseatic city and beyond, especially through film and television. The guard is located in the district of St. Pauli on the Reeperbahn, at the corner of Spielbudenplatz and Davidstraße. The area covers 0.92 km² and has about 14,000 inhabitants.
