I was given a cheap dash cam for a gift, and the cheap suction cup broke. So I had an old Garmin GPS and salvaged the suction cup post with ball, made the adapter and presto. Working yet again! Very simple and could use some improvements which I plan on but heck for now it gets it back up.
No supports are needed it has integrated supports for the T, easy breakaway. You may or may not need to file a little down, depending on the device its for.
This particular dashcam was for the Cyclops HD Unit. I have to say I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Prints fine it Nylon, ABS, and PLA. With Nylon and ABS you will need rafts as there is a very small surface for contact on the rim.
