Darmstadt Ostbahnhof

Darmstadt Ostbahnhof was established in 1869 and is near the entrance to the Rosenhöhe gardens and about a kilometer from the Darmstadt main station in the city centre. The building is a cultural monument and is protected by Hessian monument protection law. It is now only used by the Odenwaldbahn line connecting Darmstadt to the Odenwald. The building is no longer used and the Ostbahnhof is now mainly a bus stop.
