DAISY is an object for testing and comparing different print cooling solutions, like fan ducts of different shapes, or fans from different manufacturers.
It is rotationally symmetrical so that cooling is tested in 360°.
The overhangs rapidly increase in steepness from 65° all the way to horizontal. Every layer is more overhang-y than the one before it.
The thin tips of the petals are prone to warping and curling without adequate cooling.
The front of DAISY is marked for easy orientation and comparison.
Prints in around 15 minutes so that you can iterate on settings faster.
