Depending on accuracy of print some hot glue may be require to how SD card reader in holder.

After having some fitment issues with the latest batch of extender cables and having to do way too much filling to make them fit I have increased the size of the housing portion (no change to the front bezel) by 1mm in width and height. now they fit with zero sanding required.. New file ends in V4..
This is designed to hold an SD card extender cable. I used two 25inch cables (one MicroSD to SD and one SD to SD) to extend the SD card on the motherboard to a location on the front of the printer.
I removed the cover from the SD extender cable and slid the cable in thru the holder feeding the cable end thru the slot, then just pushed the circuit board in place till it is seated. Then just attach the two cables together and hide it all under the top covers.
Cables were run to follow the same root as the front display cable.
Removal of all outer covers is required to locate in same location and a small notch must be cut in the metal frame as well. I used a Dremel with a carbide cutting wheel to cut the cover and metal frame.
If anyone knows where to source a MicroSD to SD extender cable that is 48inches long please let me know. It would make the install much simpler as the only sources I can find for 25inch cables are in China.
