An internal mount for a raspberry pi in the WANHAO D6 3D printer. Also includes a mount for a DC 4.5-40V to 5V 2A DC-DC step-down buck converter in order to power the rpi. Can be obtained from eBay, e.g.

Modified the original rpi case to use nuts. You will need 10xM3 nuts and 8xM3 bolts, 12mm M3 bolts should work. I shortened a micro USB cable to power the rpi, you may need a left-angled USB cable or one with a short USB connector, as there is 30mm clearance. See photos for details.
Case allows you to use the kintaro rpi heatsink, and a 40mm fan.
Another consideration, this is designed for the rpi 3. The wireless module cannot function inside the printer, I use an Ethernet cable to connect octoprint, but you could use a USB wifi adapter mounted externally to the printer, or modify the onboard wifi to utilise an external antenna which would again be mounted externally.
