After designing clippable bricks, I thought, it would be awesome to have a storage box in similar format as well.
Therefore, here it is!
Fully customizable in size, compatible to clippable bricks (LEGO® compatible).
Modify the 3 values of variable "MyBoxXyzDimensionsInBricks" to get X/Y/Z dimension of your box.
Select if you want to have thin walls, setting variable "UseThinWall" to "true" or "false".
Note:
to prevent warping, consider using Brim.
the Box body will be one element smaller in height then defined, because the box cap will add one unit at the end.
inside the .scad file, instructions are given at the top about how you get your box.
depending on chosen dimensions, generating the 3D-Models via OpenSCAD might take a very long time, so get ready for a big cup of coffee.
You can customize the model by using the .scad file provided. Just download openSCAD, load the file, generate a preview (F5) and tweak the parameters via "Customizer" view. When you are satisfied with the preview, render it (F6) and export .stl.
In case you want to start printing right away, go and use the provided .stl model right away.
Happy printing ;)
