I have a number of Toy Biz Lord of the Rings action figures from 2005/2006 for which I found it difficult to find display bases that fit. So I decided to make my own and make it customizable.
The default base is designed for a 2" diameter, 2mm height with a 3 mm peg at 4mm high. This peg would be too large for most smaller 6" action figures. You would need to measure the hole in the figure's foot to customize properly. A 2mm diameter peg at 2mm height may be a good starting point for smaller figures.
This supports the following shapes: Round, Triangle, Square, Pentagon, Hexagon, Heptagon, Octagon, Decagon and Dodecagon
TIP: It's a good idea to print 2 or more at a time. This gives each layer time to cool when printing the peg. Printing a single base at a time can result in the peg warping when the next layer is printed.
NOTE: You may need to experiment with the positioning of the peg for some shapes more than others. The peg does not automatically adjust its position based on size or shape. If you change the size of the base, you will need to adjust the offsets of the peg.
