The Curtiss P-35 Hawk is a single engine monoplane designed to be a front line fighter during the mid 1930s. These aircraft were maneuverable and fast for their day. The P-35 was further developed into the famous P-40 Warhawk which served all of the allied counties. The P-35 Hawk was also further marketed to allied countries as the H-75 in three different versions that served with the allied countries. It was a pair of Curtiss P-35s that shot down the first enemy aircraft at the raid on Pearl Harbor. These aircraft were fairly successful even though throughout the early war they were considered obsolete.
