This model works best when you use bottom standoffs on one layer of the plexiglass sheets that they send with the board. Put this plexiglass layer underneath the board and the bottom stand-offs fit into the holes. Your 2.5" SATA drive will fit underneath the plexiglass with room for the cables to go up one side.
Note: shorter standoffs into cubietruck board -> plexiglass sheet -> longer standoffs -> holes in base plate (Sata drive under plexiglass)
