cerberus333 made the absolutely awesome 3D rendition of the Cthulhu fetish as described in The Call of Cthulhu by H. P. Lovecraft. They based it off of a sketch that Lovecraft made himself, and as such, I consider it to be the most accurate model that's readily available. However, one thing was missing from their rendition: The cryptic writings on the sides of the cube! I carefully recreated the writings from the original sketch (shown above) in Illustrator, then used Blender to engrave them into the side!
There is also a version which has the bottom flattened even more, for easier printing. I took measures to make certain that the model was no shorter because of it.
The "cthulhu text.svg" file is the vector of the recreated text I made. The "cthulhu text expanded.svg" is the outlined version that will always look the same. The "cthulhu-text.obj" file is the 3D extrusion of "cthulhu text expanded.svg". Feel free to use these elements as you wish!
