So I designed this necessary upgrade 3D printed part that I call
CTC A8 Y Axis Belt Clamp for CTC A8. This 3D printed component I
design for the purpose of addressing the issue in regards to being
able to adjust the tension on the belt on a 3D printer without taking
it apart to do so. I downloaded one of these components that was
designed for a Anet A8 3D printer that share some similarities with
each other. But the design of my 3D printer was different. And what
I downloaded for the Anet A8 did not work due to the length where the
screws go in regards to its mount so I had to design my own version of
this 3D printed component, so it will be able to work with the CTC A8
3D printer and I was successful with the design and the upgrade and I'm
glad I did so. If you wish to download this file, You will need some
sand pay for the sand out some of the rough edges and screws long
enough and the photos should give you an idea how to install it in
regards to where everything should go so enjoy.
