A portable vault used to hide secret messages. Coined by the author Dan Brown for his 2003 novel The Da Vinci Code. All internal parts are here and can be viewed along with the inner workings. This one has 6 dials plus two fake dials at the ends. I made this with all wood and is to scale. The red areas are glued.
