The Cricut can use a Sharpie marker without any adapter, but setting the height is tricky. This gauge lets you get the Sharpie in the right position for drawing nice fat lines.
To use:
Turn off the machine so you can move the tool head
Slide the gauge under the tool head, move the head down so it touches the gauge
Insert the Sharpie, pressing it gently against the gauge
Close the lock, making sure the Sharpie doesn't move up
Just before printing, wipe the Sharpie tip with a piece of scrap paper to warm it up
