So I was a having an issue with the Creality CR-10 pulling over the filament spool especially when it was full into the printer! Yes big ouch so I whiped these up and while one should work, two looks cool so up t you as should you print one and let it be lonely or two so it has company. Also worth note is the size of the of control box isn't perfect (are you surprised) so I made it for 125mm therefore you might find some extra rum between the uprights and the control box so use felt dots like these https://www.amazon.com/Self-Stick-Furniture-Value-Surfaces-piece/dp/B000VYN7CS/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1500289538&sr=8-2&keywords=felt+pads&linkCode=sl1&tag=diy3dtech-20&linkId=98e4b08a9cf48c81ffc55815ba2e43e2 or you could also use velcro dots such these too https://www.amazon.com/Self-Stick-Furniture-Value-Surfaces-piece/dp/B000VYN7CS/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1500289538&sr=8-2&keywords=felt+pads&linkCode=sl1&tag=diy3dtech-20&linkId=98e4b08a9cf48c81ffc55815ba2e43e2 in order to tighten the fit. In addition this was designed in Open SCAD and the code will be here (http://openscad.diy3dtech.com/creality-cr-10-antitip-bracket/) if you want to modify it.
Wondering how we designed this? Well check the Open SCAD video created over on our Open SCAD Channel: https://youtu.be/APVYF5Qcirs to find out more and if that still isn't enough check us out at our DIY3DTech channel too:https://youtu.be/LcrugZtBiBA
