CR90 Corellian Corvette

As the Rebellion really started going, funds were short and ships were badly needed. The CR90 was stolen (like most Rebellion ships) from the Empire. These ships were good against small patrol craft, and so were nicknamed 'Blockade Runners'. However, these ships proved useless against larger ships such as Star Destroyers. The main weakness of the CR90 design was a weapon blindspot behind the engines. The turbolasers mounted on top and bottom of the vessel could not hit anything behind their engines, unless it was a broad target such as a pursuing Imperial Star Destroyer. Earlier versions of the CR line were used largely in the Old Republic fleet as a medium corvette.
