I have been trying a variety of the solutions that I found here...too many to keep track of to be honest but none seem to fully deliver what I was after. So I ended up remixing a bunch of things into new things. I am verry sorry to not remember all the origins and I would happily give credits here for the respective work. Please do let me know in the comments. What you will get with this is:
mounting bracket for Trianglelab BMG Dual Extruder (tweaked to avoid the z-axis wire and strengthened the sensor plate area). Print this PETG so it is stronger can withstand the heat of the motor.
Sensor mount base with in an integrated PTFE tube path and a funnel to guide the filament. This works superb and you can even push stuff through without cutting it at an angle with this.
Sensor top mount that includes a hole for the led light to pass through. I suggest you you insert a cut off LED into that as shown in the pics.
You can find the remix design here on tinkercad: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/1vaPYyTVoBy
I am very happy with this setup it works flawlessly.
Printed it all on 0.12mm PLA PRO except for the mount that was on PETG. Both are Overture.
