This is a semi automatic Z-probe setup for CR-10.
The idea is that you mount the probe, measure a grid of points in your bed, use this information to adjust your leveling screws and repeat. When you are satisfied with the bed leveling , perform a final measurement, save the matrix to the EEPROM as the final ABL Bilinear Matrix and unmount the probe.
This has some assumptions:
1) You dont have the original cooling system metal cage (you moved to fang or other). The mount will use their original screws.
2) You want to use a microswitch style Bed proving. The prove is designed for Microswitch
3) You changed your Firmware accordingly to allow ABL and Zprobing. (dont use safe homing). CR-10 marling 1.0 does not have bed leveling nor zprobing enabled. you would need to download and configure last version of Marlin.
The mount has 2 screws plus a rail with a registration hole for accurate and repeatable probe attachment. all the screws are M3, the registration nut is M3 too.
The probe is designed to be printed without supports and be rigid and light as possible. the tip of the probe has room for a standard microswitch. Orient it the closest to the bed. There are 2 holes for better cable management. CR-10 uses NC z-endstop, this means the circuit is closed always and when the z-endstop is triggered the circuit is open. To wire the microswitch of the probe you need to put in the middle of any of both z-enstops cables. Its easy to keep stock by crafting the a simple 2 wire cable with and a female connector (2.54 3p Xh) on each side.
