This mount is inspired by Vincentvoile's CR10S hotbed mount; a great design that I tweaked a bit for the CR-10. It's a sturdy, single piece design that, when the camera is removed, is completely out of the way. I also wanted it to be compatible with yyh1002's Modular Mounting System, so I put the three prong things there for mounting instead of the sliding mechanism used with Vincentvoile.
Depending on your slicer, it is recommended to increase the infill at the camera arm mounting point to 80%. PLA worked fine with a 0.4mm head at 0.2mm height for the main body, and 0.15mm layers for the mount prong things (what do I call those?!). 5 hour print time, but ymmv.
To install, first release the tension on the front leveling bed knobs, and slide the right side in. Then, swing the left side in from the back, and tighten the bed back down-- that easy!
I use v3 arms from the modular system to attach the camera-- a GoPro Hero 5 Session for high-speed time-lapse recordings.
Solidworks 2017 part and STL files uploaded for V2 (V1 is shown in the images). I made some small adjustments and improvements, including beefing up the mount, making the thing easier to install, and save some printing time. Enjoy!
