Parts Required
50 15 radial fan part 12v i used a 7000rpm
securing bolt if your printers good no nut required
2 x pairs jst connectors or another version of your choice you only need 1 pair but you may as well make the other fan plugable while your there....
heat shrink
some loom tape or simalar to make good
some simple skills
soldering wire cutting etc
*good idea to test fit your radial fan fits the 3d printed part good before mounting "
Process
power up auto home switch off
unplug machine
remove fans from case cut wires on one fan at a time one wire at a time tin cut back and tin with solder also cut and tin the jst connectors .Apply heat shrink over cable away from solder area connect red to red black to black" "The exposed pins of jst plug on receiver side of power source so they can never short out"
"sorry dont mean to teach you to suck eggs if your still reading this"
Move heatshrink over soldered parts apply heat the ladys hairdryer works good if you dont have a hot air gun "real men dont blow dry pmsl". Repeat with other fan fit internal fan first. Then the 3d printed part level up part cooler towards hot end tip."if you didnt auto home step above now may be handy " a few mm above the bed from the base of the duct & ive not hit one part .Do up your bolts when happy then fit radial fan & plug in jst 's.
double check connections & make good with loom tape power up & print your ass off if your noticing temp drops you could be to high!
cooler for the cr 10 & rebranded/copy versions hictop tevo etc height ajustable
fan box has been moved more central over heat sync .more rigid roof with a thicker wall on the fan box
standard fan fits inside with the same fixings also mounts to the printer with standard fixings
standard hot end fits & micro swiss 300. poss the ed3v6 untested
i have tried printing various ways and think on the part cooler flat part printed best for me 45degree
