A friend of mine pointed me to the "COVID-19 emergency: Decathlon diving masks become C-PAP for respiratory ventilation" thing from @blueman52, and as I owned some Decathlon masks already, and am very close to the main infected area in France, i'm trying to produce a bunch to help the local hospital.
Trying to print the original files, I found them a little "theoritical". I'm sure that with a perfect 3D printer, perhaps a SLA one, eveything must be fine, but with a FDM one with all small quicks every hobbyist have on his/her machine, I tried to enhance some aspects.
Walls are very thin, which is OK but printing orientation have then a huge impact. According to the orientation you choose, some of the pipes will be very fragile, and the small tab on top is easily breakable. Instead, using a 45deg orientation allows a compromise
To allows 45 deg printing, I made slight changes, with a new profile for the Dave valve to better stick to the bed. The extra bit of plastic can be cut off after printing if needed.
Fixation tab was quite loose, I beefed it up a bit
Hope that can be of help to other people following their good idea.
Thanks to the original author, I only made slight changes over their initial work
