This is a simple srew-mount for a counterweight for DSLR Rigs. It´s supposed to be used with a 15mm roded rig and can hold up to 2kg (4x 0.5kg weight disks).
There are two variations of the holder.
The first variation displayed in the picture will work with the printed schoulder support of flummers DSLR rig: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:29677
In order to make this you will need the schoulder support with one bracket and two screws and "bent_holder_Rig_weight.stl" and "Endsrew_Rig_weight.stl"
When you don´t want to usw this counterweight with flummers Rig you can chose the secound variation.
In order to make this you will need ...:
"straight_holder_Rig_weight.stl", "Endsrew_Rig_weight.stl" a M6 50mm Screw and M6 nut.
You put the nut in the gap on the top of the holder and fix it on the rods crewing it tight with the M6 screw.
In both variations you will need counterweight. I bought barebell discs from a sportsmarket called decathlon (quite frequent in europe): https://www.decathlon.de/hantelscheiben-aus-gusseisen-28-mm-05-kg-20-kg-id_1042303.html.
0.5 kg dics cost about 75cent. 3 or 4 will be enough to act as counterweight for a heavy DSLR.
If there are any questions please don't hestitate to ask me.
