As already mentioned by various users, I also had problems with the glass repeatedly jumping off the gears from reittec's sand polisher. In my opinion, the problem is that shortly before the point at which the grinding sand slides on, the force acts diagonally on the gears across the axial axis.
To counteract this force, I have designed a holder for a counter bearing with 608 ZZ ball bearing that can be easily attached to the housing afterwards.
The position of the ball bearing and thus the counterpressure can be flexibly adjusted via a slotted hole.
2x M3 x 20 mm countersunk screws and 2x M3 nuts are required for mounting.
