(Edit 2/13/2016: V3 Completely re-designed, sits flush with the top of the wooden panel so no risk of it rubbing, it's stronger now, and prints like a dream. You'll need to use support as shown in the screenshot. Despite a top thickness of only 1mm, it was still rubbing on my bed. I need to make a new version that eliminates that top layer and still retains structural integrity...don't waste your filament for now. I'll post an update soon. V2 fixes clearance problem with the bed. See Print Settings notes.)
Do you ever get tired of listening to your heated bed cables rubbing on the corner of your Y axis motor mounts? I did. I used heavy duty silicone wires for my heated bed...and they are as soft and floppy as a flaccid...noodle.
My wire bundle was always rubbing on the corner of the motor mount, and after wrapping it with a braided sleeve, the noise was even worse. Yesterday, the cable actually snagged and caused missed Y steps - luckily it was during homing so no print was lost. Autocad to the rescue! Here's a simple cover to smooth out the corners of your Y-Motor, prevent snagging, and mitigate wire wear.
