Simple modification to add core XY drive to 3UP or really any Hbot printer. Print 2 each of the A and B parts, normal and reversed. You'll need two Misumi HBLFSN5-C corner brackets. Also, 4 F624ZZ flanged bearings, 4 M3X35mm screws, 2 M5x8 screws and M3 nuts (Trimcraft RC). Also a length of spacing material to sleeve up from M3 to M4 inside the bearing. I used a brass tube from KS Engineering (Ace Hardware) 5/32x.014 (3.97mm x .355mm) Stock #128. The real trick is to move one drive pulley up 3mm and one down 3mm so that the belt crosses over without touching. The resulting drive is totally smooth and eliminates the Hbot X gantry wiggling. You may need to shorten the inside mounting screw for the stepper motor to keep it from bottoming out. You will also need a belt that is longer to account for the cross between the two driving stepper motors.
