Confiscated BumRunner 11: The Hobbler

The 'BumRunner' was one of the few classes of ship, as most ships deviated too much from one another to fit into clear catagories. BumRunner class ships were never manufactured by any company, or even any single designer, instead they were built out of scavenged parts from other spacecraft. The Hobbler, like most others, was part of a larger fleet of pirates, and was usually used to disable other fast-moving ships. It's straightforward design made it quite difficult to see approaching from behind and nearly impossible to avoid as they traveled so quickly that by the time a ship could turn to face them it was already too late. The ships used small crews and had limited space, often disabling a ship only to allow a sister ship to catch up and retrieve the cargo.
